Qwiki - A wiki that is better than Wikipedia?

If you think Wikipedia is too long winded, why not try Qwiki, as it offers a more interactive and simpler explanation of a topic that you want to understand.

All you need to do is to type in the topic that you want to know, for instance, "Gorilla" and an interactive player will explain gorilla to you interactively (voice, image, subtitle). You can zoom into the images by clicking on them and the player will pause automatically, allowing you to look more detail into the images.

After that, you can share it on Facebook, tweet about it and also embed it on your website/blog. And if you think that the information is insufficient, just click on Wikipedia, Google, Fotopedia or Youtube (on the left side of the page after the explanation ends) for more information. Clicking on them search the topics you intended to know on the respective database/search engine.

For a start, play with Qwiki with this search - Gorilla (Click here)

Khan get enough of Wikipedia? Now there's Khan Academy.

The Khan Academy.org  is a not-for-profit educational organization created and sustained by Salman Khan. With the stated mission "of providing a high quality education to anyone, anywhere", the Academy supplies a free online collection of more than 2,000 videos on mathematics, science, history, and economics.

As of September 2010, Google announced they would be providing the Khan Academy with $2 million to support the creation of more courses and to enable the Khan Academy to translate their core library into the world’s most widely spoken languages, as part of their Project 10^100.

Congratulations for winning Google's Project 10^100 !

[SOLVED] Solve IE 9 Crash. IE9 Crash Solved.

I tried Internet Explorer 9 (IE 9) and it crashed. The error was " Internet Explorer has stopped working ".

To solve this,  Launch the new IE9 in "Extensions off" mode, Click Start > Type in "iexplore.exe -extoff" {enter}

IE9 will launch in "Extensions Off" mode > Click "Manage add-ons".

Select all the Add-ons (Select one and Press CTRL+A) > Then Select "Disable All".

Now launch IE9 and it should launch correctly.

Now, you can slowly enable all the add-ons one by one, to find out which one was causing the problem.

As a Google Chrome fan, I would say that IE 9 is AWESOME.
You can get it now from http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/

Like this post if this helps. Thank you!

  • Google Docs support ODT (OpenOffice), CSV, RTF (RichText), PDF, DOCX(which will be converted to DOC for editing) and so on.

  • In Google Docs' Spreadsheet (a Microsoft Excel look-alike), similar formulae can be used in Docs. This allows flexibility for Microsoft users.

  • There is a ruler now for the margin. Indents can be added on the ruler by clicking on the ruler.

  • Equation can be inserted easily.

Google's new stable release of Chrome comes with built-in Adobe Flash (Joyce, you should try this.) so now, you don't have to manually download Adobae Flash on your own. With this,
